Windemere Ranch Middle School PTSA NEEDS YOU!

PTSA volunteers play a vital role supporting your child’s education and activities at school, but a very small percentage of families donate their time. We have seen a significant drop in volunteers with the opening of Gale Ranch MS and want to reach out to all Windemere Ranch MS parents to get more involved. Without volunteers, especially PTSA board members for next year, we cannot conduct business in accordance with our bylaws and would be forced to cease operations.

To instill that community involvement, we would love to focus on family activities this year by having events such as, an ice cream social, a parent education night, and perhaps a "dessert night" with a cookie exchange.  In order to do this, we will need more volunteers.  Don't forget, this is the Parent/Teacher/Student Association (PTSA) so please grab your student or a friend and volunteer to chair a committee together.  Your time commitment will be cut in half!  Please click on the link to the Executive Board Roster to see what positions are still available.

WRMS PTSA Meetings are held in the library at 7:00 pm on the third Wednesday of each month, with the exception of December and June:

The Windemere Ranch PTSA was organized and chartered on April 13, 2005. Our goals are to be an active supporter and participant on the Windemere Ranch Campus by establishing the following priorities.

• Welfare of the Windemere Ranch children
• Parent education and involvement
• Communication between home and school
• Legislative voice for all children
• Community interaction and involvement with the school

We generate income for our budget from PTSA membership fees, family donations, sponsorships and the sale of the school directory and the sale of spirit wear. Our PTSA, the WRMS Education Foundation, the Site Council, Staff and Administration support the Windemere Ranch community with the primary purpose of providing educational excellence for our children.

The Windemere Ranch PTSA plans to sponsor many programs that will benefit students, staff and parents of the community. In addition to our membership dues, directory sponsorships, and profits from spirit wear sales, we have chosen to fund these programs through a one-time donation instead of fundraisers. We hope you will consider making a tax-deductible one-time donation of $50.00 or more to help support our PTSA goals for the coming year.

These programs are supported with the help of parent, teacher and student volunteers who dedicate their time and energy throughout the year.
